If you can read, write, and speak Japanese, is learning Mandarin pretty easy (compared to only being able to read, write, and speak romance languages)?
Keep in mind, I’ve had to do all of my Mandarin learning online, or by listening to DVD’s in Mandarin. I’m serious, what’s the best way to learn to read simplified Chinese Characters. I realize it will take a lot of effort and time. Thank you for any reasonable answers.
