I am wanting to learn another language, because I want to work for the government when I am older and knowing another language will help me in whatever field I plan on being in when I’m older. I am debating on russian or mandarin but can’t decide. My dad wants me to learn mandarin but I want to learn Russian. I know that china is rising to the number 1 super power and there are more then 700 million mandarin speakers in the world, but there are only about 250 million Russian speakers. what is your opinion?
