I am currently a freshman in high school, and have the option to take Japanese or Mandarin Chinese…I am unsure of which to take. Could you list the benefits of learning either language and why i should chose it? How would learning either language help me in the future? I see it as Japanese is a language restricted to a country about the size of California and China is an ever-expanding Global power.
