Ok if Moria from "The Mines of Moria" in Mandarin is 莫里亚 how does one know that it is a name? The character 亚 means Asia/Asian and that has nothing to do with the Mines of Moria, so why is it even used in the translation of the name? Just because it sounds similar? Since there are no capital letters in Mandarin, how can you identify it as a name and not that it’s talking about something from Asia? Context is one clue I guess, but what if the word was just standing alone? Thanks!
