I’m 20 years old Chinese-born. I can speak Chinese (but not very well, only simple words). I can read VERY little and I can NOT write at all. I need to study in Taiwan/ China but the course I’m doing is only offered in Mandarin. I would need to take some time off to learn Mandarin, how long do you think it would take me if I just learn the language and a part-time job? I would consider myself to be brightish.
